Snowy Day in Aiken!
Even though we missed the white Christmas in Atlanta (last one was in 1882!), we loved the snow in Aiken on the day after Christmas! Wills built his first snowman - it was a big one, and I'll try to get the pics from my mom and post them.
Christmas in Aiken
The kids and I spent the holidays in Aiken with Jammy and Big Daddy, and it was so nice to sit back and relax with everyone! Tim came back to Atlanta for a few days for work, but we all had a really wonderful time together. Here are some photos from the week, including our Christmas Eve Eve with the Hyman crew.
I just had to include this - Wills is going to kill me one day. I think he, Louise and Jammy were playing a Princess game that involved winning jewelry at each step...here is Wills with his earring.
Wills loves his new chair from Aunt Teffy and Uncle Robert (he said he is going to use it in the front yard!)

Christmas morning
Jules slept through Christmas morning, so Wills had a captive audience. It was a Batman Christmas! Santa and his elves definitely got the message that Wills wanted not one, not two, but five Batman things. At the top of this list was the Batcave, then came the Batmotorcycle, the Batcar, and then a bunch of mumblings that started with "Bat". Wills was not disappointed!
Grandma and Grandpa sent a Batman sleeping bag, and Jammy and Big Daddy gave Wills at Batman backpack and suitcase!
Jules was not empty-handed...Santa brought her a lamb lovey (just like Wills' "Roar") and some toys...Grandma and Grandpa gave her a wonderful set of Little Einstein toys, and Jammy and Big Daddy got her an adorable backpack and duffel bag!

Suhrer Family Christmas
The annual Suhrer Family Christmas was in Aiken this year at my parents' house. There were 31 of us, I think - and it was wonderful! It is so great that everyone makes the effort to get together once a year - all of the cousins make the trip, even if they can't get there until 9pm, or have to leave early to get back home. My favorite part of the day is the "CousinExchange" (not "CousinsExchange, which could be "CousinSexchange" according to my sister) - all cousins over 18 bring a $10 present and we play dirty santa - it always makes for great laughs! When we started 4 or 5 years ago, my sister gave a Hawaiian nutcracker, and it has become the joke of the night because we regift it every year.
Anyway, here are some of my pictures from the night!
I think these pictures are hilarious...Steph and I wanted to get a pic together at the end of the night...she realized that she was leaning in...
so then I leaned away...
and then we got the perfect pic!
