What's new

Let's see, what's new...Wills is cutting 4 new teeth up top, and he is trying all kinds of new "people" food - green beans, mozarella cheese, sweet potatoes, baked apples. He is sleeping pretty well at night - usually from about 8pm to 5:30 or 6am. He doesn't take great naps, at least when he's home with us on the weekends. He is crawling all over the place, and he loves his new playroom. He also loves the pool - I'll try to get some pics this weekend when we go!

Updates! 10 months old...

All is well here in Atlanta! Wills is just getting over his first ear infection, which stinks - I was really hoping that he would have this super-immunity to them. Oh well - he got a cold last week and it ended up as ear infections in both ears.

He is crawling all over the place, and pulling up on everything that he can reach. We turned our sunroom into a playroom, and it is officially his room with all of his stuff. He is eating some finger foods by himself, like shredded cheese and cheerios, but he still doesn't really like chunky foods. He knows exactly how to use a sippy cup, and loves water, apple juice and pear juice.

His favorite word/sound is "uh-oh"...he says it all the time, as a response to everything. He can also make all of the da-da-da, ba-ba-ba sounds, but just not on command. He also knows how to clap, and will start to clap anytime you sing "If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands"! His other favorite song is "The Wheels on the bus" - I think they teach him these songs at day care.

Here are an assortment of pictures we have take lately. The first two are his 9 month pics.

11 months old and all over the place!

Wills is just shy of 11 months old, and boy, is he a full-time job or what! Some of his favorite things to do these days are to give high fives, go for rides in his wagon from Grandma and Grandpa, throw things out of his wagon while we are out walking, point at things, chase Fletch around the house

11 months old and all over the place!

Happy 4th of July!

We had a neighborhood parade for the 4th of July - it started in our cul-de-sac and ended at the pool with a cookout. We took Wills in his wagon - it was great!

Everything else is going just fine! We are getting back into the swing of things after our long vacation. We had to go and buy new car seats for Wills - he is getting so big, it was hard to lift the carrier when he was in it! Here a just a couple of pics we've taken lately. Check out that second one - how uncomfortable does that position look??

Bye-Bye!
