Weekend with Grandma and Grandpa

Tim's parents came to visit this weekend and we had a great time! You could tell that Wills was so happy to be with them :) Thank you for coming down to Atlanta to see us all! Here are some pictures...






I couldn't resist taking some nake photos of him in between a change of clothes today - he is going to be mad at me for these one day!

6 months old! Happy Easter!

Wills turned 6 months old on Thursday 3/20/08. He went to the doctor and she said he is doing great developmentally - he is almost sitting up on his own, putting his feet to his mouth, rolling over, etc. His weight was down a little (16 lbs, 4 ounces), but we are pretty sure that is due to the fact that he has been under the weather lately - the flu a few weeks ago and a stomach bug on Thursday. When he is feeling good, he is the sweetest baby. He is eating squash and sweet potatoes now, and he seems to like them both. He is also napping in his crib (which he never did before - always in the swing or in our arms).

We have had a great Easter weekend - we went to the neighborhood Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, and Wills got his picture with the Easter Bunny.

Here are some new pics! Wills hung out with his girlfriend Rosemary on Friday night - she is 2 months older, and obviously in charge :) Also below is a hilarious video that we took last night of Wills laughing - the color is not great, but turn up the volume!

Squash and Sitting Up!

We fed Wills real food for the first time yesterday - squash! And he actually seemed to like it! He had some again today - he makes the funniest face when he tastes it.

He is also coming very close to sitting up on his own for more than a few seconds. Check out these pictures! He also likes his bumpo seat - he is able to sit in that and play with all of his toys.

After all of this sitting and playing, he was ready for a nap...

All better!

Finally, Wills is feeling so much better! He is back to his old self. Turns out he had the flu - we took him back to the doctor last week and he tested positive. Poor guy - he was so stuffed up that he could barely eat. Tim and I took turns staying home with him for most of the week, and my parents came fore the weekend - it was great to have them here. Come back soon!!

Wills is starting to love bathtime - he likes to look as his reflection in the faucet (see below).

Bubble Bath

Well, technically it is a "vapor" bath. Normally, Wills is not very fond of bathtime, but throw a few bubbles in there and he is as happy as can be! The vapors supposedly help to clear out a stuffy nose. Wills has a pretty bad cold - fever, stuffy nose, cough...We took him to the doctor on Tuesday, but they don't think it is anything more than a cold. We are keeping him home for a few days to try to get him better. One of the remedies that he seems like is this vapor bath.
