The Beach!

We just got back from a wonderful 8 days at the beach - it doesn't get any better than that! We spent 4 days with Tim's family and then 4 days with mine...and we have a ton of pictures to share!

Wills is doing so many new things - he is pulling up on everything, putting his feet in his mouth, learning to clap his hands and wave bye-bye, and making all kinds of zerbert sounds with his lips. He loved the ocean, especially the waves lapping at his feet. This is also the first time that he has had a chance to really play with his cousins Scott (16), Bo (4), and Louise (2) - he had a great time with all of them. He also went on his first trip to Charleston. Enjoy the pics!

A lot of "firsts"

There were a lot of "firsts" this weekend!

Wills is using a sippy cup! Well, sometimes. OK, he's done it by himself twice. But hey, he's getting there! He's been drinking water out of it for about a week now, but usually I have to hold it for him. Then, out of the blue yesterday, he grabbed onto the handles and went for it himself! Today I gave him a little bit of apple juice mixed with water - he seemed to like it!

We took Wills to the neighborhood pool today - this was his first time in a pool, and he loved it. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera...but I will take lots of pics next time. He has a big crab float and just chilled out watching the other kids play. He definitely like the water...and it wore him out! He fell asleep at 7:20pm tonight - that's a record for the earliest ever!

Wills also went to his first b-day party this weekend. Our neighbor's son turned 1, and there were a ton of babies from the neighborhood. Wills was the youngest, but he got in the playroom and hung with the best of them. It made me realize that he will be one in just 3 months - how time flies!

And this was Tim's first Father's Day! He slept in til almost 10, then we had a big pancake breakfast. Then he opened presents and he is flipping between golf and baseball as I write this. I'd say he's had a good day.

Some random pics...

Oh, and I turned 30 on Thursday :( On the bright side, we celebrated on Saturday night by going bowling and had a great time! Thanks to all of my wonderful friends who came out to celebrate.

Girls Night Out!

That's right...I am heading out tonight for a little girls night out - we are going to see Sex and the City and then grab some dinner. Tim is the best and is going to watch Wills so I can go relax. Before I head out, here is a quick update:

Wills is officially crawling, and he still does the army crawl on his elbows too. He can get almost anywhere if you put him down on the floor, and is pulling up on everything. He likes to crawl to the front door and smush his forehead against the glass so he can see outside. He can get from laying on his stomach to sitting up. He waved "bye-bye" to two of our neighbors on separate occasions, and we had absolutely no idea that he even knew how to do that! Of course, we can't get him to do it again for the life of us.

He is eating lots of different fruits, veggies, and mixed meats and veggies. I have tried a couple of times to give him "real" fruit - little bits of bananas, strawberries and peaches. He wants nothing to do with him - he is a lazy eater and wants me to feed him. He does eat those little puffy stars, kind of like cheerios - he loves them.

Here are some pictures! Wills loves the wagon that Grandma and Grandpa gave him for Christmas. I take him for a ride in it every day when I get home from work. We also just bought him two little water/baby pools and he seems to love them, especially in this heat.
