Jules is Playing Soccer!

Jules is playing soccer at the Y - she is on the 3 year old team.  This is her first time playing any sort of sport, and she loves the idea of it.  Now if we can just get her to play!  Just kidding, of course, she gets out there every once in a while...and last night she scored her first goal (huge props to her coach for clearing the way and encouraging her to go for it).

The soccer fields are right next to a baseball field, and wouldn't you know my little girl who loves everything princesses and dresses would rather spend her time playing in the dirt than on the soccer field.  Twice now I've had to bribe her to play by saying she can play in the dirt after the game.

I had to zoom in because I thought the face Jules was making (on purpose) was so funny!  She didn't know what to think about that photographer :)

Pigs

This is one of Wills' latest masterpieces...and I have to say, one of my favorites yet!  Wills loves the song "Gangham Style" by Psy...he and Jules love to sing along and do the dance.  I thought this was so creative...and I love the writing!

My boys

Horseback Riding

Jules was invited to a birthday party at Grove Station Farms in Piedmont, and it was an absolute blast.  I've never seen her have so much fun!  There were animals to pet - like a donkey and goats, and there were 2 horses that all of the kids got to ride.  Jules was thrilled to ride the horses - this is the first experience she's had with horseback riding, and she giggled the whole time.  The party was for one of her preschool friends, so she knew many of the kids, and they had so much fun together!  And she looked super-cute in the hat and bandana.

Wedding in Charleston

Tim and I were invited to a wedding in Charleston this weekend for our friends Rosemary and Craig.  Rosemary went to Wofford with us, and I worked with Craig at Accenture with my first job, so that's how they initially met years ago!  Fast forward 10 years, they ran into each other, and now they are married!

We got to see several old friends, both from Wofford and from my Accenture days - and it was a great weekend away in Charleston for me and Tim!
