Happy Halloween!
Wills' grandma sent him this adorable Halloween costume, and Wills was so excited to be a "thunk" for halloween! We took him to our neighborhood Halloween party at 5 and then went trick-or-treating with some neighbors afterward. Wills loved it - he actually started running from one house to the next. He learned pretty quickly how to say "trick or treat!" to get some candy. At one point, he wanted a piece of candy so bad that he just sat right down in the middle of someone's driveway and waited for me to give him a piece :)

Boo at the Zoo!
Today my friend Shannon and I took her daughter (Scarlett) and Wills to Boo at the Zoo. It was a blast! They loved the costumes, the animals, the music, and of course, the candy. They also seemed to really like each other! Scarlett was Cinderella...and Wills was a skunk! Pepe Le Pue, to be exact. Thanks Grandma, for the great costume - it was a hit!
Can you tell...
I am getting caught up on my blogging? To make it easy, I am just writing a little blog for each of the things that has been going on. Wills' had his 2 year appointment 2 weeks ago, and it went great. He weighs 28 lbs and is 35 inches tall - 50th percentile for both weight and height, which is just perfect! He doesn't stop talking once he is comfortable around you, and our favorite word right now is "punkin". He loves pumpkins and can spot one anywhere. He wants to do everything himself - if you offer to help him, he just says "I help, I help!". He is eating a little better...his favorite food right now is hummus, of all things.
And of course, he is obsessed with his pockets...
My new playground
Grandpa, Grandma, Big Daddy and Grammy all chipped in to give Wills the best 2nd birthday present a little boy could ever get...a new playground! I was waiting at home after it was installed to get a photo of the expression on Wills' face when he saw it for the first time. This thing is on his mind morning, noon and night!
Field of Greens
My friend Christina and I took her son, Jax, and Wills to a farm in Covington, GA for their Field of Greens festival. There were chickens, goats, and a turkey. Jax loved the live music, and Wills loved the scarecrow.
How I like to dress when I wake up in the morning
Wills likes to be silly first thing in the morning. The other day when he woke up, I found him down to his skivvies in the crib...he had managed to take off his zipped up footie pajamas! Thank goodness he didn't remove the diaper too...
The last 3 pics are of Wills with his shoes and rainboots on (with PJs). So silly!

Other cute pics...
Here's a picture of Wills in his "waincoat" and "wainboots". Thanks Grandma! He thinks he looks so cool in this outfit. Those bright spots are reflectors, so anyone can see him :)We took Wills to Sesame Street live last Sunday. He wasn't sure quite what to make of it, but was definitely excited to see Elmo and Cookie Monster (funny story...Wills used to call all cookies "crackers"...which translated into calling Cookie Monster "Cracker Monster").
Wills with Grammy and Big Daddy on his birthday.
Wills snuggling up on the couch with a blanket (like his mommy).
Wills' 2nd Birthday!
Well, as everyone knows, we've had a tremendous amount of rain in Atlanta lately, and that didn't fair so well for the outdoor birthday party at the park :( We changed the location at the last minute to the local Chuck E. Cheese, and it turned out perfect! Everyone turned up, and Wills had so much fun with all of his friends and all of his grandparents!
And, by the way, I've never seen a 2 year old so enchanted by all of their gifts. When we got home, he played with every single one. This kid has more cars, trucks, tractors, and fire engines than he knows what to do with...but he loves each one! Thank you everyone for being so sweet and generous to Wills!
