12 month pictures

We took Wills to get some 12 month pics today, and we also had a family shot done. They turned out great!

Happy 1st Birthday!

We celebrated Wills' first birthday last weekend in SC with all of our family. Thank you to everyone who traveled to spend the weekend with us - Wills is so lucky to have such a wonderful, loving family! And thanks to my parents for hosting the crowd! It was also my grandfather's 93rd b-day - hopefully Wills has his genes!

A walk down memory lane

Sleeping is overrated

Or, at least Wills Ryan thinks so. Oh, what we would give for an entire night of sleep. It seems like the older Wills gets, the more he likes to wake up in the wee hours of the morning to make sure we know he's there. Oh well...You'd think with all of this exercise, he'd be tired:

We are enjoying these last few weeks of summer - we went to the pool this weekend with our friends Michelle, Jason and their son Michael who live down the street. Michael and Wills will be the same grade in school.

Wills likes to chill in the mornings and watch Baby Einstein:
Loving bagels:

Dressing just like his daddy:
Sitting on his mommy's basket:
And playing...
I can't believe it, but Wills will be one on Saturday. Where has the year gone? It has been the best year of our lives, and we love him so much.

Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents...

Wills has been seeing a lot of family lately - what fun! We went to Grammy (or, according to my niece, Jammy) and Big Daddy's house last weekend and saw Grandpa Frank and Steph, Robert, Bo and Louise...the guys were in town to play in a golf tournament.

  • Then the Martins came to Atlanta to stay with us for Labor Day! Wills and Louise had so much fun playing hide and seek, and he was definitely imitating her, trying to dance and also trying to get his hands on every toy that she picked up.
No, they are not posing for me...they are watching Baby Einstein!
He also can't resist pulling her pretty, wavy hair...and she really doesn't like it!

Wills is doing just great, here in the last month of his first year! He is getting more and more adventurous with attempting to walk - he can cruise/waddle from place to place, and he is an expert crawler. He is also experimenting with new foods - he loves cheese, bagels, and all fruits...and he loves everything they give him at daycare, like waffles and pieces of biscuit.
He loves bathtime, all of a sudden (he used to fuss and fuss).
And his hair is getting a little bit out of control - check out these waves!

We can't wait to see everyone again for Wills b-day in just a few weeks!
