Wills' Piano Recital

Yesterday was such a special day - Wills had his first piano recital. He's been taking lessons for about 8 weeks on Tuesdays at school.  His teacher's name is Ms. PJ, and his song was "This Old Man".  He would never practice on our piano at home...Too bad, it might have helped :)

Just kidding, of course.  We were so proud of him - he got up in front of everyone and, despite a little stage fright, got through the whole thing!  Way to go, Wills!

The Batcave

The boys in the cul-de-sac love the "batcave", which is a big tree in our neighbors yard.  They run straight for it when they get home everyday.

Princeton Mill Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Egg hunt was in our cul-de-sac this year, and Wills had so much fun hanging with his friends and gathering eggs.  There was a bouncy house and the Easter Bunny, too!  Unfortunately, Jules missed the whole thing because she was taking a nap.  Maybe next year...

What They Are Saying These Days

Jules' New Words:
soap (she loves washing her hands)
moo
baa
neigh
roar (like a tiger)
Noooooooo
slow
spoon
night night

Funny Things that Wills Says:
If that's the entrance, then is this the outtrance? (about the entrance and exit at school)
Mommy, let's talk about poop.  (at the dinner table)
Smack it out.  (about lots of stuff)

I know there are more, but I need to write them down!

Soccer!

Wills is playing soccer for the first time!  His team's name is the "Arsenals" and they had their first game on Saturday.  The league is through the YMCA.  We were so proud of how he played - he got right out there with all the kids and went after the ball and everything!  He even scored a goal...who cares if it was for the wrong team?  My dad says "that apple didn't fall far from the tree"...I think I scored quite a few points for the opposing team back in my day, too :)

Birthdays in Aiken

It's that time of year again - birthdays for Big Daddy, Stephanie, Louise, Jammy, Bo and Uncle Robert!  We went to Aiken for the weekend to start some of the celebrations, and it was fun as always!  Jules loves her some balloons!
