Apple-Picking at Sky Top Orchard

Jennifer and I took all 5 kids up to Sky Top Orchard to do some apple-picking.  Overall, it was a lot of fun...but Wills was a little disappointed when he found that they didn't have any more Granny Smith apples left to pick - those are his favorites.  He was kind of ridiculous about it...typical 6 year old, I guess!

First Wofford Game and Dad's Special Day

We took the kids to their first Wofford Football Game - Homecoming on Oct 12th.  It was also a special day because the school was honoring my Dad's Golf Team 40 years after they won the National Championship.  His whole team was there, including my Uncle Paul.  We had a great time - the kids played and wore themselves out sliding down the big hill on cardboard.  Wills had an unfortunate mishap when he slid right under the chain link fence and got a little scrape, but we took him to the first aid station and got him bandaged right up.

Jules' Party

It's hard to believe our little girl is already 3!  Then again, it seems like she's growing before our eyes - and if she's not acting 3, she's acting 6 like her brother!  For her birthday, we had a small party at Gymboree.  It was her first time going to a little gym like this, and you can see from the pictures that she had an absolute blast!  Not to mention that she definitely likes to be the center of attention!

Jules had a Disney Princess cake (she's been talking about it for months). She got lots of fun toys like a Minnie Mouse camera, Doc McStuffins phone, doll house, new pillows for her bed, a Cinderella costume, and some new books.  All around, a perfect birthday!

Silly Wills

One of the best parts of living back in SC is that we are that much closer to the Ryan clan in Greensboro.  We went up there to celebrate Jules' birthday and just visit.  Here are some candid shots of my sweet boy.

Albino Skunk Fest

For years I've seen my fear friend Jennifer's photos from the Albino Skunk Blue Grass Music Fest and wished we could go too. This year, we did! And the whole family loved it. Wills was super-excited to see people play "tangerines at the blue cheese festival" - translate to tambourines at the blue grass festival, maybe my favorite thing he has ever said!!! The kids has a blast and can't wait to go again next year. Thanks Jen and Travis for introducing us to this awesome event!
