Easter, Daddy's Shoes, and Updates!

Let's see, what's been going on the last month! Our favorite "sayings" from Wills right now are:

squirrel - which sounds like sqwul
girl - which sounds like gwul
fudge - which he says spudge - as in, Mommy, I need more spudge
Easter Bunny Chocolate Eggs - as in, Mommy, I need a Easter Bunny chocolate egg for breakfast

Wills is back into the swing of things at school since we got back from Disney World, although seeing Mickey and all of his friends clearly made an impact. In fact, when the Easter Bunny came and left Wills a basket of goodies, Wills was convinced that it was Mickey Mouse who brought him chocolate bunny eggs, not the Easter Bunny.

Wills is also talking up a storm these days, using full sentences. One of his favorite things to say is "Get me outta here right now!", which he says in the car, in his bed, and, most memorably, in church on Easter morning :)

Wills loves to color, and at school his teachers said he is one of the only ones who actually tries to stay inside the lines of his pictures. He is very proud of his drawings, and can draw a pretty good circle.

Wills loves to wear sunglasses, but he almost always puts them on upside down. His hair is out of control and I have to spray it with water and brush it to get it to stay down.
Wills likes to try on his dad's shoes a lot, as you can see. He also is obsessed with Toy Story, Buzz Lightyear, and Woody the cowboy. Thanks Grandma! He loves the movie and his buzz and woody action figures.

And finally, some other news...Tim and I are having another baby! This picture was at 16 weeks...I'm about 18 weeks now and we are very excited! We'll find out the gender of the baby in 2 weeks - more to come!

Disney World!

We just got back from an awesome week in Disney World with Big Daddy, Grammy, Stephanie, Robert, Bo and Louise! We went to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios, and Wills loved them all! His favorite thing was the Dumbo ride and the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground, and he also loved meeting the Incredibles (although you can't tell from the picture). This was our first trip as a family to Disney, and the first time Tim and I have been 1) together and 2) since we were very young. Here are some pictures from our trip...

Let it snow!

We got about 3 inches of snow on Friday night, and I think Tim and I had just as much fun in it as Wills did!

When we weren't outside playing, we were inside trying to stay warm. Wills is totally into his "colors" right now and loves to color with his mommy and daddy :)

29 months old...

It's hard to believe Wills is almost 2 and a half! He is changing every day, talking more and more, and is really his own person! We took the side off of his crib (one step towards a big-boy bed) and thought it would result in us waking up each morning with Wills by the side of our bed looking at us :) but it hasn't made a bit of difference to him! He loves climbing in and out of his bed all by himself, and he stays in the bed until we come get him in the morning.

Wills' favorite things right now include dinosaurs (he calls the brachiosaurus "broccoli-sauras"), mickey mouse and all his friends (we are going to disney world in April and every day Wills says "I'm ready to go see Mickey!"), playdo, gummy vitamins, waffles with syrup, cheese quesadillas with rice and beans, eating his food on the kitchen countertop (see pics below - supervised, of course), his grandparents and his cousins, and Fletch. He also tells everyone what is his or ours (that's my mommy, that's my cereal bar, that's our house, that's our dog) and recently woke up every kid at daycare during nap time by walking around and poking them on their cots.

I'll try to take more pics this weekend so that you can all see how much he is growing!

Christmas!

We have had a very busy but very wonderful holiday season! We went to Easley SC for the Suhrer family Christmas (my mom's side), then spent the night in Greenville to celebrate Christmas with my family. Then we went to Greensboro to spend Christmas with Tim's family and had a wonderful, relaxing time. And this weekend, we went to Aiken for the long weekend. Here are some pictures from the month...
